Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)

Do you belong to a CSA?

This is my first year experiencing the benefits a CSA has to offer.  Each week we are treated to such wonderful organic produce.  Some of which we get to pick ourselves which makes the experience of bringing the food home and eating it so much funner and tastier.

These farms are all over so chances are there's one closer than you realize.  So please if you're thinking about joining give it a try.  Support your local farmer and eat some of the best eats you could be eating.  I'm a member of the Common Threads Farm in Madison.  I love everything they have to offer.  Check out their website if you're curious how it works.  The weekly newsletters give you a really good idea of what to expect.

Fresh flowers on the table each week is such a treat!

These are the goodies we came home with last week.

Gate Entrance Passageway

I took these in Germany and France of last year.  I like to imagine the stories behind each picture.  I find the simple beauty inspiring and hope you do too.

Enjoy!

Walk into the shop and take a look around...

Hello! Hello! So glad you stopped by!

Busy at work!

These letters are the result of some Dremel Trio cutting.   A really easy to use little gadget.

My Barn workshop.  Here is where my creating takes place.

Lots of mess making going on around here.

I'm always looking for new ways to reuse these caps.  I have close to 10 years worth of caps collected.  I expect to start some much larger projects soon.  I welcome any ideas.  Please send them my way.

Completely separate from my everyday creating I'm in search of some good ways to reuse styrofoam egg cartons.  I've searched online and so far I haven't come across much.  If you have any suggestions please post a response or shoot me an email araetsy@gmail.com .

Have a wonderful day!

What's new in the shop?

A few wine coasters, a large cork trivet and a couple of signs.  The summer has nearly come and gone.  It's been a beautiful Central New York Summer!  I've been blessed with the most spectacular home views.   Views which are inspiring and at the same time a distraction inviting play not work.  The fall and winter months may be better for this.  Less visitors and outings to fill my time.
