My Photos

A very large and old Salix fragilis.  The common name is brittle willow similar to black willow.  This one is found in my yard here in CNY.  The size and design of this tree is quite extraordinary.  I love how my photo turned out.  I will definitely frame it.

The lovely Pacific on a beautiful summer day...

A small view into my summer time fun...

I love what the bright sunlight has given to these photos.

A SPRING MORNING

Summer and fall have passed and winter has found us.

Here in central New York we are covered in snow.

Snow makes everything pretty!!

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark, and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

- Robert Frost -

I took these in Germany and France of last year.  I like to imagine the stories behind each picture.  I find the simple beauty inspiring and hope you do too.

Enjoy!
